“The most rewarding thing of all is when somebody comes back,” says Carolyn Koole Executive Director of Alpha. Lisa Crawford of Hudsonville has used Pizza Hut’s “Pay It Forward” Challenge (brought to West Michigan by Fox17) as her way of giving back to a place that has meant so much to her family. Lisa first went to Alpha as a young single mother and has since recommended it to her son and daughter-in-law. “A lot of people don’t know about Alpha Women’s Center and that’s kinda where I come in. I gave them diapers and we’re kinda trying to let moms know that they are there,” says Lisa. Lisa used the $200 that was given to her in the challenge to buy diapers for the center so that they can continue to help more women like herself.
