2010 Alpha Wish List

1. Diapers, Diapers, Diapers! All sizes. We need 40,000 this year. All funds donated for diapers go into a restricted account only to be used for that purpose.

2. Enfamil Lipil with Iron formula (dry formula 12.5 oz cans)

3. Baby wipes

4. Jars of baby food

5. 9 oz baby bottles (plastic, any type) for January Baby Bottle Bounce fundraiser

6. 20 lb. copy paper for printing (most needed - white, also pink); also white card stock

7. Postage stamps (Forever type)

8. Manila file folders (standard size)

9. Resealable sandwich bags

10. 4×6 index cards (white, with lines)

11. Heavy duty (leaf size) garbage bags

12. Vacuum cleaner with attachments

13. Coffee, filters

14. Cleaning supplies (toilet cleaner, etc.)

15. Light weight 8 foot rectangular or 60 inch round banquet tables (Costco)

16. Heavy duty 6-tier chrome shelving (Costco)

17. Funds for 1,000 pregnancy tests (donated funds allows us to order each test for under a dollar)

18. Staples and Costco gift cards

Other ways to give

1. Participate in our Baby Bottle Bounce in January in celebration of the Sanctity of Human Life (we provide the bottles or you can purchase them and ask families to fill them with change). Bottles may also be used at place settings for banquets etc.

2. Knit or crochet teddy bears for our Teddy Bear Tea Party in February. Patterns are available by request.

3. Donate gently used baby and maternity clothing, baby beds, strollers, etc.

4. Provide snow plowing in the winter or landscaping in the summer

5. General cleaning, changing high ceiling lights, etc.

6. Volunteers are desperately needed to sort clothes and answer the phones and assist with mailings in addition to trained volunteers to mentor our women. Small groups are encouraged to volunteer together.

We’ll move sometime in the next few months and will need moving trucks and strong arms and legs to help. Let us know if you want to be on our call list once a date is confirmed.
