Summer Fun at Alpha!

1.      Summer Day Camp with Trinity Baptist Church. July 27-29 we are hosting a summer activity for the kids of moms who come to Alpha and for neighborhood children. On Friday July 29 we will have our annual Fun Friday – a carnival celebrating all of the kids work learning verses and lessons for life from the Bible.

2.     Volunteer Training for Community at Heart. Join new volunteers preparing to mentor homeless moms and small children each week for three hours. Training begins in August. We need 15 mentors for moms and 15 for the children.

3.      Creating a Play Space for Homeless Children. Alpha is working with Amway’s One by One and the Grand Rapids Children’s Museum to prepare a play space for our new children’s programs.

4.      Group Volunteer Opportunities. Perhaps your church, family or small groups of friends would like to volunteer this summer for a special project at Alpha. We have a broad array of volunteer options.
