Ladies Weekend Expo – Fun! Fun! Fun!

On November 11, 12 and 13 Alpha was fortunate to have two booths at the Ladies Weekend Expo at the DeVos Center. At the Expo Alpha offered our teddy bears, knit hats, fascinator clips, headbands and caps for donations to Community at Heart, our daytime center for moms and children who have no homes. Grandmas, moms, sisters and children made their own fascinators at our booth. We want to thank everyone who stopped by to learn more about us and purchase our products. This event was possible because of the hundreds of hours donated in creating the fascinators by school groups, church groups, volunteers, friends and staff.

For those interested, fascinators will be available at Alpha throughout the year as we focus on our special event brunch on September 8, 2012 called Hats in the Garden. We will hold an auction at the event to help support Community at Heart in 2012-13.

If you would like to make your our fascinator, Alpha will hold Mad Hatter parties throughout the year at our center where you can bring your friends, small group, etc. and enjoy the fun together. Kits for the fascinators are available for a $10 donation. We will provide any additional resources needed. We already have bridal parties interested as well as corporate groups.
