Alpha needs 20-30 new volunteers for programs beginning this fall and winter including a new children's program.

2012 Fifth Third River Bank Run

Alpha – A Charity Partner for Year Two!

We thank Fifth Third Bank for allowing us to be a Charity Partner for the River Bank Run on May 12, 2012.


Join us May 12, 2012 as we walk and run for life in the Fifth Third River Bank Run!

Help Alpha meet our 2012 Goals!

Pledge Collection Goal: $30,000

Participation Goal: 300 Walkers/Runners

*If Alpha has 300 walkers and runners, and each person raises $100 we will reach
our goal of $30,000!

Why participate in the River Bank Run? With only 21 charities represented at the run, Alpha has a remarkable opportunity to broaden our audience from a few hundred to thousands giving a stronger voice for the unborn. The Run also allows us to raise much needed funds and resources for Alpha’s operations. We are excited to invite all of our friends who participate in our annual Life Walk to join us for the fun and exciting experience of walking the 5K (3.1 miles) at the River Bank Run.

3. Fill
out the appropriate information. In section 3 of the registration process, at
the bottom of the screen there is a section labeled “Please designate a
Personal Charity (for which you would like to raise money)”. Please select Alpha Women’s Center.

4. After
you are finished with the registration process, please email Caitlin Haller at challer@alphawc.org or call Caitlin
Haller at 616-742-0242 to notify her of your participation and t-shirt size.
She can also answer any questions you may have about pledge collection,
registration, race day information, etc.

  • Walk or Run as an Individual
    There are events for everyone! Enter the 5K Walk,     5K Run, 10K Run or 25K Run. Collect donations to support Alpha Women’s Center.
  • Form a Team
    This is a great opportunity to gather your employees, co-workers, church, club, family and friends! Form a team and participate together in the Fifth Third River Bank Run. Compete for donations.
  • Support Alpha
    Unable to walk or run? You can still support our efforts! We will also accept donations through the mail by check or credit card. Our address is 1725 S. Division Ave. Grand Rapids, MI 49507. We will not be accepting cash donations for the Fifth Third River Bank Run to ensure accurate documentation of all donations received.
