It’s Teddy Bear Tea Party Time!

Grandmothers, mothers, aunts, sisters, daughters, friends and family,

There’s nothing the teddy bears want more, than to celebrate their adoption with new friends, delectable delights, and savory teas. So don your hat and heels and let the party begin!

Cost: Adults $10; Children 10 and under $5

This year Alpha Women’s Center of Grand Rapids served almost 3,000 mothers and their children providing resources and mentoring. Most of our clients live below the poverty level increasing their vulnerability to abortion.

The simple gift of a hand-knit or crocheted teddy bear with a tag signed by the sponsor touches children with the message that they are loved and affirms our message that every individual is unique and special. It reminds them that God knitted them within their own mother’s womb. It also provides a picture of the value and benefit of adoption.  

Alpha Women’s Center invites you to sponsor a table inviting your daughters, families and friends. You may adopt an Alpha Bear to be given to a child at Alpha for a donation at the tea.for a minimum donation of $20.  

Alpha bears are knitted and crocheted by loving hands of women in our own community. Funds raised from the sale of these bears are invested in new programming at Alpha that cares for the children of homeless families visiting our center.
